The European Union Chamber Orchestra gave its first concerts in 1981 and soon gained an international reputation as a musical ambassador for the European Union. Funding from the European Commission enabled European Union Chamber Orchestra to make its name familiar worldwide with tours to Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and the Philippines, North, South and Central America, North Africa, India and the Middle East as well as across Europe and throughout the UK.

Renowned for her "dazzling interpretative flair and exemplary technique" (Classic FM), British violinist Jennifer Pike has taken the musical world by storm with her unique artistry and competing insight into music from the Baroque to the present day. She will be joined in Mozart's Sinfonia Concertantd by award-winning young British violist, Timothy Ridout.
