Soloists from English Touring Opera join forces with local choir Granta Chorale and children from Saffron Walden County High School's partner school Alec Hunter Academy, Braintree for a new kind of performance of Bach’s great St John Passion. The twelve chorales around which the work is structured have been translated by acclaimed writers and theologians of different faiths, including Dr Rowan Williams, Giles Fraser, AL Kennedy and Marina Warner.
