Local Brighton pianist, Johan de Cock, returns to the Brighton Fringe Festival with a solo piano recital of baroque keyboard sonatas by Antonio Soler, the middle-period Sonata in C sharp minor (Hob XVI:36) by Joseph Haydn, the solo piano versions of the two late romantic Elegies (S 196/S 197) by Franz Liszt, a selection from 'Cançons i Danses' by the Catalan composer, Federico Mompou, and a new milonga-inspired commission by the American composer, RA Moulds. The concert will last about an hour, without an interval.
