Valentina Díaz-Frénot graduated from the National Conservatory of Music in Buenos Aires. A student of Mtro. Roberto Caamaño’s, Mrs. Díaz-Frénot epitomizes the Argentine Piano School, represented by a large number of illustrious world-famous pianists.

She obtained awards in major competitions -best performance of Spanish Music at Jaen and Tenerife International Piano Competitions (Spain), and best performance of Gabriel Fauré’s Music at the Marguerite Long- Jacques Thibaud International Piano Competition (France).

She gave recitals in radio and televisión and in concert halls throughout Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, the UK, Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Yemen.

As a soloist Mrs. Díaz-Frénot performed with the Argentine National Symphony Orchestra, Santa Fe Symphony, Teatro Argentino Symphony (la Plata, Argentina), Radio France Philharmonic, Baden-Baden Symphony, Strasbourg Collegium Musicum and Asunción Symphony. Some of the conductors she performed with were Washington Castro, Simón Blech, Isaac Weinstein, Pedro Ignacio Calderón, Jean Pierre Jacquillat, Pierre Dervaux, Gianni Rinaldi, Jean Paul Penin, Luis Szarán, Dominique Fanal, Diego Sánchez Haase, and Jeff Manookian.

She is currently the Head of the Paraguayan Music Council and a member of the Executive Committee os the International Music Council (CIM/UNESCO).
