To celebrate the 330 years since the birth of Bach, Handel and Scarlatti, we invite you to join us for a varied programme of selections from established works such as Handel's Acis and Galatea, Bach's Cantata BWV 75 'Die Elenden sollen essen' and Mass in B Minor, performed by choir, chamber orchestra and soloists. Alongside these baroque masterpieces, works for solo instrument by Bach and Scarlatti will also be performed. The evening will be rounded off with a rousing rendition of the triumphant 'Hallelujah' Chorus from Messiah.

This early evening concert is part two of our 'Come and Sing' day celebrating the baroque titans. Selections from Messiah, Acis and Galatea, and B minor Mass will be learnt in a workshop format by the participating public during the day.
