Music for a while are making an eagerly anticipated first visit to St Andrew's Church on the Black Isle and performing a special Gala concert, featuring 400 years of song from around the world. Join them for a poperee of the finest vocal and instrumental music, including works by Dowland, Purcell, Handel, Haydn, Massenet and Faure.

Beautifully located atop the low cliffs on the south east side of Fortrose and within sight of the remains of Fortrose Cathedral, St Andrew's Episcopal Church provides a fitting backdrop in which to celebrate 400 years of music

Showcasing local musicians, in addition to an eclectic mix of solo song the concert will feature an unusual oportunity to hear duets for soprano and countertenor and the ancient resonances of the Baroque Recorder and Viola da gamba.

The admission price includes a progarmme and during the interval refreshments will be served when there will be an opportunity to meet the performers.
