Australian viola player Jared Yapp and London-born pianist Alexander Soares - both artists from the Royal Over-Seas League programme - perform a programme in the magnificent setting of St James's Church Piccadilly. The programme includes a performance of one of Beethoven's most emotional and technically demanding piano sonatas; as well as a rare opportunity to hear the English composer Rebecca Clarke's Viola Sonata, written in 1919, a work that shows the influence of Vaughan Williams and Debussy.
