  1. En Saga Op 9 - Jean Sibelius
  2. Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D major Op 77 - Johannes Brahms
  3. Symphony No 3 in A minor Op 44 - Sergey Rachmaninov

Sibelius was a great master of the tone poem and En Saga is an eloquent expression of mystery, drama and romance. Brahms's Violin Concerto is a work of great majesty, technical demand and exquisite lyricism. Soloist Anna-Liisa Bezrodny will assuredly impress with an impassioned performance and superb technique. Rachmaninov's Third Symphony reflects the grief and the cheerful determination of a patriotic composer separated from his Russian homeland; it is a romantic 'song of exile and love'.
