  1. Don Giovanni K 527 - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Mozart's dark comedy follows the fiery final days of the sociopathic nobleman hell-bent on seducing every woman in Europe. But as his litany of sins raises an army of victims against him, a stone guest arrives to exact fiery retribution on the libertine…

The opera has some of Mozart's most powerful and captivating music. Moon-Little Theatre are proud to present a cast of fantastic singing actors to bring the score to life. With upcoming engagements include Glyndebourne, Grange Park, English National Opera and The Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, this will be as much a musical treat as dramatic one. The cast and chamber ensemble (piano, violin, cello and clarinet) in a new arrangement by Danyal Dhondy) will be under the direction of Elspeth Wilkes, renowned for her work with London's most prestigious chamber opera companies.

Christopher Moon-Little's production captures the comedy and human drama of the piece. Set in 17th century Spain by designer Sunny Smith, this will be a fresh and intimate realisation of one of opera's most powerful stories.

Moon-Little Theatre is a new company dedicated to: entertain with thrilling stories, beautiful music, thrilling experiences and beautiful productions.

The production is staged in Italian with English surtitles. There are some scenes of a sexual nature, but the show should be suitable for children at secondary school accompanied by an adult. Family tickets, wheelchair access and amenities are all available.

The production is supported by Christopher Ward, Rémy Martin, Opera Now, Fanny Shorter and Jane Susanna Ellis.
