  1. Overture, from Oberon - Carl Maria von Weber
  2. Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D minor Op 47 - Jean Sibelius
  3. Symphony No 7 in D minor Op 70 - Antonín Dvorák

Our spring concert will mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Jean Sibelius and we are delighted to welcome the outstanding violinist Fenella Humphreys to play Sibelius's violin concerto.

Framing the concerto will be Weber's popular overture to Oberon and Dvorák’s Seventh Symphony which is sunny, warm-hearted and lyrical, and full of hope for his Czech homeland.
