  2. The Garden of Proserpine - Ralph Vaughan Williams

This concert presents two pieces completed in 1899 but rarely performed in the 21st century - the second part of The Song of Hiawatha, and Vaughan Williams's first large-scale work, setting a poem by Swinburne. It's a natural sequel to Epsom Choral Society's performance of Hiawatha's Wedding Feast a few years ago.

Doors open at 6.45pm. Free wine or soft drink at the interval is included.
