Join in the Christmas spirit on Monday 15th December 2014 at 7.30pm with Bristol Cabot Choir when they return to Bristol Cathedral for their annual Christmas Concert.

Conducted by Musical Director Rebecca Holdeman, the choir is delighted to be joined this year by harpist Ruth Faber and soprano Francesca Gregory.

The concert will feature an amalgam of traditional and modern carols for choir and audience. The highlight of the programme will be Benjamin Britten’s ‘Ceremony of Carols’. Accompanied by the harp, this wonderful work consists of eleven movements with text in Middle English.

The choir will also perform two pieces by American composer Eric Whitacre – ‘The Seal Lullaby’ and ‘Sleep’ as well as a range of carols old and new.

This year, Bristol Cabot Choir will be supporting local charity The Julian Trust Night Shelter. All proceeds from the retiring collection at the Choir’s Christmas and Spring concerts will be donated to this fantastic charity which has been serving the needs of homeless and vulnerable people in Bristol for almost 30 years.
