French Music During World War I

Pascal Roge is one of the great interpreters of French piano music, his name is simply synonymous with the best playing of French repertoire in the world today. For several years, Pascal has enjoyed playing recitals for four-hands/two-pianos with his partner in life and in music Ami Roge.

Together they have travelled the world appearing at prestigious festivals and concert halls, New York's Carnegie Hall, London's King Place, The Sage Gateshead, City Recital Hall Angel Place Sydney, the Hong Kong Joy of Music Festial and many more.

This recital forms part of the Blackheath Halls World War I Week: Lest We Forget | Wednesday 5 November - Saturday 15 November Marking the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War, we remember in words and music the ways in which this major conflict was reflected by leading poets and composers of the time, and through the popular songs of the day, the pioneering spirit that prevailed both at home and abroad.

A free coffee is included with all tickets for Blackheath Sundays events
