Quartetto di Cremona

The Quartetto di Cremona was formed in Cremona in 2000 while studying at the Walter Stauffer Academy with Salvator Accardo, Rocco Filippini and Bruna Giuranna. It has since made a name for itself as one of the most interesting chamber ensembles on the international scene, with the Süddeutsche Zeitung describing them as one of the most exciting quartets of the current generation. The quartet has performed at major international festivals in Europe, South America and Australia and in the most prestigious concert halls all over the world. Since 2011 the quartet has been Artists in Residence at the Società del Quartetto in Milan and Artists in Residence at the Academy of St. Cecilia in Rome.
