Since his first Rosenblatt Recital in 2004, Albanian tenor Saimir Pirgu has blossomed to become “one of the world's most important interpreters of lyric tenor roles” (Opera Today). A regular performer at the Metropolitan Opera, “his singing sounds spontaneous and unforced, graced by an intuitive play of light and shade and a silken touch ” (New York Times).
