'A Summer Serenade'

Two early evening chamber music concerts, played by the acclaimed Quartet Pro Musica in the beautiful riverside setting of Garrick's Temple, Hampton. on Friday 11th July, 2014, 5.30pm and Saturday 12th July, 2014, 5.30pm.

Tickets £15 (£10 concessions) include a glass of wine and boat transport, if required, from Hampton Court (MoleseyLock, East Molesey, Surrey). A boat will depart each day from Molesey Lock at 4.30pm to Garrick's Temple Lawns, Hampton.

Refreshments available from 4.45pm which can be enjoyed, weather permitting, on the lawns in front of Garrick’s Temple.

Programme includes: Vivaldi: 'Spring' from the Four Seasons; Schubert: Variations from 'Death and the Maiden'; Vaughan-Williams: The Lark Ascending (soloist: Pat Halling - resident of Molesey); Tchaikovsky: Scherzo; Tom Bowling (cellist Andrea Mundy - resident of Hampton) (Anon Sea Shanty); Irish Melody (arr Frank Bridge); Percy Grainger: Molly on the shore; Tony Kinsey (resident of Sunbury): 'Dream Rushes' ; George Gershwin: Rhapsody in Blue.
