Viva Voce welcomes you to our seasonal choral Advent calendar concert ‘Noel Sing We!’ Behind each door lies exquisite and challenging music for all tastes unwrapping the customs, traditions, melodies and idioms of choral writing from around the world.

From the brooding Estonian lullabies (Tormis), via the Shepherd’s Pipe Carol (Rutter) to the theme and two variations from Britten’s virtuosic and challenging A Boy was born, there really is something for everyone. Enjoy this wonderful selection of music telling and reflecting upon the Christmas Story, by candlelight in the atmospheric Upper Chapel. There will be mince pies and mulled wine to help get the festive season started (wear your ‘scandi’ knit if you have one)!
