This recital will be a celebration of English music, featuring the rarely performed song cycle 'A Song for the Lord Mayor's Table' by William Walton – a set of six songs evoking the sights and sounds of London across the ages. This will combine with settings of John Betjeman poems by Madeleine Dring which take us on a journey from the shimmering colours of A Bay in Anglesey to the Berkshire Downs of Upper Lambourne.
