He contrasts this stately repertoire with early twentieth century music by Manuel Ponce played on a historic Ramirez guitar held in the Macaulay Collection of plucked string instruments at St Cecilia's Hall.

A "meet the artist" reception will be held following this concert, to which all members of the audience are cordially invited.
