  1. String Quartet No 23 in F minor Op 20 No 5 - (Franz) Joseph Haydn
  2. String Quartet No 6 in F minor Op 80 - Felix Mendelssohn

A chance to hear two magnificent string quartets performed by the young Celan Quartet, Mendelssohn and Haydn - two masters of string quartet writing - performed in the intimate setting of Westgate Chapel. The Celan Quartet met at MusicWorks chamber music courses and quickly realised that they shared a passion for playing string quartets. Individually extremely talented, they are certainly a group to watch out for in the future.
