  1. Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in A minor - Edvard Grieg
  2. Carmina Burana - Carl Orff

Oxford's professional symphony orchestra, the Waterside Theatre's Orchestra in Association, returns to Aylesbury with the outstandinly talented young pianist Benjamin Grosvenor to perform Grieg's enchanting Piano Concerto, one of the most overtly romantic ever written.

The programme is completed by Carl Orff's colourful setting of medieval mores – life lived to the full under the inescapable shadow of fate – with the work's famous, vibrant choruses provided by the internationally acclaimed London Symphony Chorus. This large-scale performance, also featuring internationally renowned soloists Elena Xanthoudakis and Robert Davies, promises a musically varied, thrilling and exuberant close to the evening.
