This summer sees our second annual ‘Summer Proms’ series. The concerts will take place in the historic Speech Room at Harrow School and will brighten up your summer evenings with the chance to relax to some of the best known names in classical music, while soaking up the beautiful surroundings of Harrow on the Hill.

A Broadway Spectacular featuring widely-acclaimed British pianist Charles Owen, West End star Lincoln Stone and Harrow’s own Trinity Orchestra, conducted by Music Director Michael Murray. Following a performance of the exhilarating overture to Bernstein’s operetta Candide, the orchestra will welcome Charles Owen to the stage to perform Gershwin’s jazz-inspired Rhapsody in Blue - perhaps the most popular of all American concert works and a piece forever associated with New York City. The audience will stay in the Big Apple for a selection of favourite Broadway classics sung by Legally Blonde star Lincoln Stone before being transported to 1920s Paris by Gershwin’s symphonic poem ‘American in Paris’, featuring music well-known from the 1951 MGM Musical starring Gene Kelly. An American extravaganza not to be missed!

St Luke's is the local hospice for Harrow and Brent. We care for people whose illnesses are no longer curable, enabling them to achieve the best quality of life during the final stages of their illness. Coming to terms with a serious illness can be difficult and distressing. Everyone in the family and friends can be affected, so our hospice and our staff and volunteers provide a warm, friendly and supportive environment in which everyone feels welcome.
