A concert of soprano songs and instrumental music from renaissance and baroque chamber music repertoire. The songs illustrate the various moods in the age old game of love. The instrumental pieces showcase recorders (of all sizes) in flashy late renaissance pieces, delightful baroque trio-sonatas and these are contrasted with more sombre music for viols with organ.
