Inspired by J S Bach’s 560 mile round trip walk to hear Buxtehude play the organ, we invite you to join us on our annual, shorter and more gentle stroll between two of East Northamptonshire’s beautiful villages. Supper tickets include a delicious two-course meal (food only) at The Old Rectory Barn or The Vane Arms, or bring a picnic supper to eat in the delightful garden of the The Old Rectory. Drinks will be available to purchase as will tea and cake before the walk.
Two outstanding young musicians, Oliver Wass (the first harpist ever to win the Guildhall Gold Medal, the Guildhall School of Music’s most prestigious prize) and Luba Tunnicliffe (First Prize winner in the 2016 St Martin-in-the-Fields Chamber Music Competition) join forces to play music by Bach, Bax, Britten and Tchaikovsky.
