Elspeth McVeigh (soprano), is accompanied by Eric Thomson (lute and theorbo), in a selection of beautiful early French and Scottish songs and tunes.

The music of the French masters, including Michel Lambert and Etienne Moulinie is complimented by early Scottish lute music.

This will be an extraordinary experience to sit in the candlelit, intimate space, listening to 17th century Scottish and French music, which could not be more in keeping with this marvellous historic place.

The Scottish French 'Auld Alliance' during Scotland’s troubled times, is explored through this hauntingly beautiful music which is perfectly suited to the wonderful accoustics and beauty of Rosslyn Chapel.

Please join us for drinks after the performance at 8.30pm
