Instruments of Time and Truth, Oxford's new professional period-instrument orchestra, was founded by Principals of the Academy of Ancient Music, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and the English Baroque Soloists who live in and around the city. Under the baton of world-renowned conductor Edward Higginbottom ( for 38 years Director of New College Choir ) , they are joined by charismatic cellist, Natalie Clein, newly appointed Director of Performance at the University of Oxford.

This creative fusion of Oxford musicians breathes new life into classical masterpieces. Instruments of Time and Truth's debut performance at the Palau de la Musica Catalana in Barcelona last December, was hailed in El Pais as, ‘ exemplary. . . a delicacy ’.
