The British a cappella ensemble Apollo5 has been praised for its engaging and entertaining performances. The five outstanding vocalists perform throughout the UK and internationally; last season performing in the USA, in festivals in France, Estonia and Italy. With a repertoire ranging from retro jazz and pop to classical arrangements, they are adept performers on the concert platform.

Apollo5 brings to life this mixed programme of sacred choral music, spirituals, traditional melodies, jazz standards and pop songs with versatility and charm. The five charismatic singers take you on a musical journey exploring music from the British Isles and beyond including old favourites such as Summertime and A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square, the touching Dido’s Lament and the lively Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.
This is the second in the 45th season of nine professional concerts organised by Holmes Chapel Music Society.

The concerts regularly attract audiences of up to 250. The atmosphere is friendly and informal. We go out of our way to welcome new members.
