The young musicians of The Purcell School Smyphony Orchestra perform with teenage pianist Alim Beisembayev, winner of the prestigious 2015 Junior Cliburn Competition, under the baton of Karina Canellakis, making her UK debut.

The Purcell School, based in Bushey, is the UK's oldest specialist music school; alumni include Oliver Knussen CBE, Catrin Finch and BBC Young Musician of the Year winners, Nicholas Daniel, Lara Melda and Martin James Bartlett.
