Award-winning one handed concert pianist Nicholas McCarthy will mark Liverpool debut with an intimate concert of music from war, marking the 1914 centenary on Friday 7th November 2014.

This concert is a poignant culmination of Nicholas’s dedication to one handed piano music born of war, with great works including music from Scriabin, Frank Bridge, Liszt with rare arrangements by Wittgenstein, and Nicholas’s own transcription of Roses of Picardy and Ivor Novello's Keep the home fires burning, and Elgar's Nimrod.
