La Traviata | The Cambridge Philharmonic Society

The stellar cast assembled for this concert performance offers Cambridge opera-lovers a unique opportunity to see some of Britain’s finest musical talent on their doorstep. The concert sees The Phil’s music director, Tim Redmond, who returns to Cambridge directly from conducting at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, joined by Kathleen Ferrier award-winning Ben Johnson. Ben first sang with The Phil in 2007 before making his name in opera and is now set to return before taking up his role at the English National Opera. Ben will be performing Alfredo alongside Linda Richardson, currently singing Violetta for Scottish Opera. Opera magazine said of Linda Richardson’s performance: “an outstanding Violetta.”
