Folk Gone Baroque

A long time ago it was highly fashionable for the lords and ladies to play and hear the folk music of the country peasants. Come and hear how it sounded! Music includes works by Rameau, Leclair, Veracini, Biber among others.

Both musicians are based in Amsterdam where there is a vibrant Early Music scene. Rie Kimura performs with Bach Collegium Japan and Robert Smith performs with the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra and both perform with ensemble Fantasticus
