Concerts arranged by the Society permit the residents of this rural location to attend live classical concerts otherwise denied to them by the absence of public transport to established theatres in surrounding towns. The venue affords excellent acoustics, and the evening's enjoyment can be further enhanced by the availability of a free glass of wine or soft drink during the interval.
