Music for voice, violin, viola da gamba and harpsichord, dating from the high point of French baroque culture - full of virtuoso jokes and amusing cross-references for those in the know, but already infiltrated by the dramatic violin music seeping in from Italy. This concert is inspired by the french philosopher Diderot's satirical dialogue 'Le neveau de Rameau'
