Martin Carthy & Dave Swarbrick with special guest Ewan McLennan

Martin Carthy and Dave Swarbrick are two heroic folk legends who were key figures in the early folk revival and have been at the top of the industry for 40 years. As well as deserved accolades as soloists and as a duo they have been in the forefront of groups such as Steeleye Span, Fairport Convention, Waterson Carthy and Imagined Village to name a few. Both Martin and Dave are multi award winning and multi honoured artists and gthey continue to play with passion, commitment and enthusiasm.

Joining them on this memorable evening is Ewan McLennan, winner of the 2011 BBC2 Horizon Award for best newcomer at the BBC 2 Folk Awards. With a rich Scots singing voice and delicate guitar playing, Ewan is one of the new breed of folk singers who will continue the tradition.
