  1. Messiah HWV 56 - George Frideric Handel

Ring in the Easter Weekend by joining with fellow singers to form the chorus of Handel’s triumphant masterpiece. Our Come and Sing! Messiah event is your opportunity to perform this piece together with a professional orchestra, City of London Sinfonia, and The Choir of Holy Sepulchre, one of the UK’s leading professional church choirs.

The performance will be led by conductor Matthew Kofi Waldren, and we have a wonderful line-up of soloists, including alto Yvonne Howard.

The event is open to singers of all abilities. Of course, we also welcome all audience members who would prefer to watch rather than join the chorus!

The total running time will be two hours, including a 20 minute interval.

Scores will be available for hire on the day. if you prefer to bring your own sheet music, please be aware that we’ll be using the Novello (Watkins-Shaw) edition. Other editions also work, but will have different page numbers.

Please note that this Come and Sing! event is performance only (no workshop).
