Commotio are overjoyed to return to SJE Arts with guest director Sarah Tenant-Flowers, with a scintillating selection of seasonal song. From the ethereal tones of Pärt’s Virgencita, Roth’s Sol Justitiae, and Todd’s Angel Song II, to the earthy exuberance of Vango’s Gaudete and Tabakova’s Goodwill to Men, Sarah Tenant-Flowers has devised a programme balancing the mystery and joy of Advent. In addition to some spectacular music, Commotio will also be inviting the audience to enjoy the contents of the choir’s much-lauded annual Mince Pie Bake-Off.
