Part of the ensemble's wider EarthSong project, join Endelienta Baroque for a musical exploration of the natural world in all its wonder and detail. The programme includes two new works by Alice Beckwith, alongside Handel's German Arias for solo voice. The new commissions take as their starting point the nature-praise poetry of Heinrich Brockes, the poet set by Handel in his effervescent and colourful arias. The programme is interspersed with some of Handel's most inventive and daring instrumental music.

The concert is followed by a short Q&A with composer and ensemble. Refreshments are included in the ticket price.

This concert is supported using public funding by Arts Council England and is supported by the Continuo Foundation.
