To open its 2022-23 season, Ex Cathedra invites you to live like a king, and luxuriate in glorious repertoire written for royal occasions by two of their favourite baroque composers. Handel’s music has been at the heart of every British coronation since 1727 - and quite a lot of football too - and Lalande’s sublime music accompanied important moments in the life of Louis XIV, the Sun King.

This is repertoire for which Ex Cathedra is particularly acclaimed, and which the musicians can't wait to share with you.

The concert will end at approximately 6pm.
