Come and join us as we celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Ralph Vaughan Williams, much loved English composer of orchestral and choral music who was born in 1922. In this concert of unaccompanied 'a capella' choral music, we'll be showcasing Vaughan Williams's stunning mass for double choir plus soloists as well as English choral works from composers that inspired him from the Renaissance to works by his contemporaries.

There will be a retiring collection in aid of the work of Canterbury Chamber Choir. Throughout the year the choir puts on concerts of choral music for the appreciation of communities across the Canterbury district and further afield at an exceptionally high standard for an amateur choir. We also use those concerts as a platform to help other charities raise money including Catching Lives, Team Malawi, the Lady Mayoress's Charity and others. Funds raised at this concert will help provide essential ongoing support so that we can continue this work throughout the year.
