This is the 20th annual orchestral concert bringing together professional and semi-professional musicians from the West Midlands to form the Inkberrow Sinfonia and including a guest soloist for the major work. Proceeds from the concert go to two charities - the Kharkiv and Przemysl Project (KHARPP) and the ongoing restoration of the parish church of Inkberrow.

The Kharkiv and Przemysl Project (KHARPP), in collaboration with MAD Foundation, is raising money to support the humanitarian relief effort in Ukraine’s second largest city, Kharkiv, and in the Polish city of Przemysl, situated on the Polish-Ukrainian border. As cities on the eastern edges of their respective countries, both Kharkiv and Przemysl are the epicentres of the crisis caused by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

KHARPP is pronounced ‘harp’. The silent K and P represent the unheard voices of people in Kharkiv and Przemysl, silent and silenced by the conflict, in the two cities that are the focus of our project.

The Parish Church of St Peter is in need of major restoration, involving repairs to the stonework and windows and replacement of an inefficient and elderly heating system. It has not been possible to undertake any restoration work during the pandemic and fundraising has also suffered, in common with all charities.
