City Music Foundation’s fundraising gala at Wigmore Hall on 5th July sees some of the country’s top soloists join forces with City Music Foundation alumni for an extraordinary night of music, with champagne in the intervals and an auction in support of the charity. Royal wedding trumpeter David Blackadder, bass-baritone Christopher Purves, City Music Foundation Patron and violinist Jennifer Pike and established young pianist Pavel Kolesnikov all perform during the evening among many others, with music by Bach, Handel, Stravinsky and Mendelssohn.

City Music Foundation offers a unique career development to its young artists and this year celebrates 10 years since its inaugural intake. The event is also in memory of the late Sir Roger Gifford, who founded the charity with his wife and Managing Director, Dr Clare Taylor.

There are a limited number of VIP tickets available including a reception with the Artists and City Music Foundation team after the concert (email communications@citymusicfoundation.org for more information).

Don’t miss this superb, one-off event in London’s finest music venue!
