Music for Reflection: Fauré, Kodály, Boulanger | Horsham Chamber Choir

Although most often known for early music, here the Choir is singing from the 19th-20th century repertoire of Gabriel Fauré; Hungarian composer and educator Zoltán Kodály; and Lili Boulanger, a remarkable female composer born in Paris in 1893. Our programme of reflective yet powerful music is both a celebration of self expression and a gentle reminder of our humanity.

Conductor Olivia Shotton recently completed her Choral Conducting Master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music, where she is now the 2021-2022 Meaker Fellow. Alongside Horsham Chamber Choir she works with a number of other London choirs, and sings professionally with many church and chamber choirs.
