Our spring concert includes two masterpieces from both ends of the 19th century: the first of the great German violin concertos written during Beethoven's creative 'middle period' in 1806 when he was perhaps at his most lyrical, and then Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony written in 1888, full of drama and great tunes. The violinist is Amarins Wierdsma, an internationally acclaimed and award winning soloist.
