  1. A Ceremony of Carols Op 28 - Benjamin Britten, arranged for mixed chorus and harp by Julius Harrison
  2. Quatre motets pour le temps de Noël - Francis Poulenc

In addition to the Britten and Poulenc there will be various seasonal pieces.

Benjamin Britten’s hugely popular Ceremony of Carols, composed in 1952, was inspired by his purchase of The English Galaxy of Shorter Poems and his study of the harp. Poulenc’s Christmas motets, composed in 1952, are a joyful celebration of the events of the Christmas story.

Join us for these beautiful Christmas works and then in singing Christmas carols towards the end of the evening.
