  1. Messiah (Watkins Shaw Edition) HWV 56 - George Frideric Handel

The City of London Sinfonia once again joins the Choir of Salisbury Cathedral and soloists – Soraya Mafi, Robin Blaze, Sam Furness and James Platt - for a stirring performance of Handel's masterpiece, Messiah.

Composed in 1741 and first performed in Dublin on 13 April 1742, Handel’s Messiah has become one of the best-known and most popular choral works.

This sublime music in the exquisite medieval setting of Salisbury Cathedral is the perfect preparation for Christmas.
