Musicke in the Ayre return to live performance with music written for up to 3 sopranos by composers working in Rome and Paris. Their latest incarnation of their highly popular programmes exploring the early baroque repertoire for multiple women's voices feature works by Roman composers Luigi Rossi and Girolamo Frescobaldi, contrasted wiith pieces by Michel Lambert and his son-in-law Lully in Paris. The Central URC is right in the centre of Bath, and the 7pm finish allows time for a meal out afterwards - so come and make an evening of it!
