Wooburn Singers are back singing together. Following the success of our open-air concerts in the summer and our recent live recorded concert of Fauré & Kodály, we are now holding our first proper concert with audience. St Mary’s Church Beaconsfield have welcomed us back for our annual Christmas concert on Saturday 19th December. The programme will be shorter than usual and unfortunately the audience won’t be able to join in the singing but it still promises to be a magical event in the run up to Christmas. It will be at the earlier time of 6pm to enable families to attend and as usual under 18s are free. Ticket price will include a glass of wine or fruit juice and a programme.

Because of social distancing, audience numbers are greatly restricted so do please book early. There will be some cheaper seats in the Fitzwilliam centre and the whole concert will also be live streamed on a private YouTube channel for anyone who is unable to attend.

There will be NO tickets available at the door.

The programme is beautiful, with several new carols and plenty of old favourites too, led by our musical director Tom Hammond-Davies and accompanied by pianist, Simon Howat.

Any profits from the concert will be donated to the NSPCC whose usual fund-raising event has been cancelled.
