She has also won the concerto prize playing Schumann piano concerto in A minor in Worthing Music Festival 2017. She has performed as a soloist at important venues throughout China, Hong Kong and England, such as the Milton Court Concert Hall, St Lawrence Jewry, St Martin-in-the-firlds and the Wells Cedars Hall.

Zhu is also passionate about chamber music, having performed Bach's Brandenburg concerto No 5, Brahms's piano quartets, first piano trio, the horn trio, Schumann's piano quintet, Walton's piano quartet, Chausson's piano trio and various duos with string players and singers in venues like the Wells Cathedral School concert hall, St John’s Cathedral in central HK and Milton court in London. She has also appeared with her chamber music group in St Mary-le-bow church in the Young Barbican Artists series.

Zhu's musical interests also include playing the organ, which she has had the privilege to study with the Associate organist in Wells Cathedral, Jonathan Vaughn. She particularly cherishes her experience playing the cathedral organ, on numerous occasions and for evensongs.
