  1. Messiah (Watkins Shaw Edition) HWV 56 - George Frideric Handel

The Choir and Orchestra will give a performance of Handel's even popular oratorio. Handel's Messiah. has been described by the early music scholar Richard Luckett as "a commentary on Jesus Christ's nativity, passion, resurrection and ascension", beginning with God's promises as spoken by the prophets and ending with Christ's glorification in heaven. Along with our soloists we will also be joined by a guest artist of Tristan Fry.

The choir and orchestra will be under the baton of Michael Cayton.
