Joseph Moog (piano)

The son of two orchestra musicians, Joseph Moog’s ability to combine exquisite technical skill with a mature and intelligent musicality set him apart as a pianist of exceptional diversity. A champion of the well-known masterworks as well as a true advocate of rare and forgotten repertoire paired with his quality to compose and arrange, Moog was awarded the accolade of Gramophone Young Artist of the Year 2015 and is a double winner of the International Classical Music Award. Moog brings the 2020 Harrogate International Sunday Series to a close with a varied and engaging programme culminating in Ravels suite of piano pieces based on poems from the collection Gaspard de la nuit. Famed for its technical challenges, Moog is sure to bring the 2020 series to a triumphant close.
